国际棕地治理大会（CleanUpConference）是国际知名的污染场地治理修复方面的会议，在澳大利亚每两年都举办一次，最近一次大会于年9月在墨尔本成功召开，来自25个国家的名代表出席了此次会议。
为了推动中国棕地治理与污染场地修复工作的开展，由中国科学院、中国生态修复网和澳大利亚环境污染评估与修复联合研究中心(CRCCARE)、纽卡斯尔大学全球环境修复中心(GCER,UON)联合主办的“国际棕地治理大会（CleanUpConferenceinChina）”将于年10月25日-28日在中国北京隆重召开。会议于10月25日组织会前培训与Workshop，10月26日大会报告，10月27日分主题报告，10月28日组织项目考察与技术交流。大会以“中国棕地污染和环境治理”为主题。
届时，大会将邀请国内外棕地治理与污染场地修复相关领域的知名专家学者、政府部门主管领导、企业精英和主流新闻媒体的代表齐聚北京，共同探讨棕地治理污染场地修复相关问题，欢迎相关领域的各界朋友积极参与。
TheInternationalContaminatedSiteRemediationConference,knownas‘CleanUp’,isheldinAustraliaeveryalternateyear.ItishostedbytheCooperativeResearchCentreforContaminationAssessmentandRemediationoftheEnvironment(CRCCARE),whichleadsAustralianresearchintotheprevention,assessmentandclean-upofenvironmentalcontamination.Thelatestevent,heldinMelbourneinSeptember,attractedalmostdelegatesfrommorethan20countries.
The1stCleanUpConferenceofChinawillbeheldinBeijing,China,from25to28OctobertopromotethegovernanceandremediationofcontaminatedbrownfieldsitesinChina.ThisconferenceisjointlyorganisedbytheChineseAcademyofScience(CAS),theChineseEcologicalRestorationNetwork(ER-CHINA),CRCCARE,andtheGlobalCentreforEnvironmentalRemediationoftheUniversityofNewcastle(Australia).Theconferenceisfocusedonthe‘BrownfieldContaminationandEnvironmentalRemediationinChina’.Itwillincludeaone-daypre-conferencetrainingworkshopon25October.ThePlenarypresentationswillbeheldon26October,followedbyspecialsessionson27October,andpost-conferencetourson28October.
Localandinternationalbrownfieldcontaminationandremediationexperts,alongwithmanagersfromenvironmentprotection/regulatoryagenciesandleadingbusinessrepresentatives,areinvitedtoBeijingtodiscussissuesrelatingtotheremediationofbrownfieldsites.Weencourageyourparticipationinthisexcitingandimportantevent.

五、会前培训(pre-conferencetraining/workshop)10月25日（星期二）在过去的50年里,世界各国纷纷认识到不论是在城区还是相对偏远的地区都存在数以千计的‘或许受污染’的场所。这些风险不明的场所严重阻碍了该地区的以及与国际上的贸易。同时，大气污染——释放多种有毒化学物质，被认为导致了每年数百万人的死亡。在重大地产以及生态功能脆弱的区域，受污染的土壤、沉积物或地下水使这些区域无法被开发利用或是在没有得到有效的管理的情况下致使生态服务中断,损害到人类和环境的健康，其损失超过数百万美元。
